Understanding the Billing Process

01. Card on File

We require a credit, debit, or HSA card to be kept securely on file to hold your appointment.

02. The Visit

You attend your telehealth session. No payment is collected during the video call itself.

03. Claims Submission

We automatically submit the claim to your insurance company. This process takes 2-4 weeks.

04. Patient Balance

Once insurance processes the claim and returns an EOB, we charge your card for the remaining copay/deductible.

Medication Prior Authorizations

Sometimes, insurance companies refuse to cover certain psychiatric medications without “Prior Authorization.” If this happens, our clinical team will handle the paperwork and submit the necessary clinical justifications to your insurance company to advocate for your coverage.
